Question

Can't speak to the cases or their quality, but on their website they claim to have been founded in 2008. That being said their social media presence only appears to be a few years old. Their first Instagram post is from 2021. The reviews via their Facebook page only go back to 2017 and seem to be a mixture of what could be actual people along with some obvious spam and bot posts that the company could easily remove.

The staff picture on their about us page is lifted directly from a company website for Royal Case Company who claims to be 35 years old and has the same address in Texas as Condition 1. That seems odd, but maybe it's a branding thing. Royal Case Company, however, manufacturers it's cases in China.

Something seems off about Condition 1 as a whole, but I could be wrong.

Their website dates back to 2009. Prior to that it was a personal blog covering guns rights advocacy and other related issues.

Since around Dec 2013 they started selling on Amazon

And are still doing so today

From Condition 1's Abou Us page dated May 20 2009. Can't say if this is still true since it's no longer on their site. The original guy may have sold it back to Royal and they decided to keep the brand.

Condition One, supported by the extensive resources and recognized expertise of Royal case, can both design and manufacture custom cases, but drawing upon the military experience of the principals can meet the unique demands of the military as well as athletics, business, computers, electronics and medical markets.

Well I appreciate the input. I've been looking on line for a built sturdy waterproof\dust proof trunk to mount on top of my rack on my adventure trailer. Size does matter........I looked @ Roam & their trunks aren't tall enough love the quality of them, 23 Zero's are the same long enough but not tall enough either. Theirs a few others so I walked out the limb & purchased Condition 1 45" trunk https://condition1.com/products/45-long-storage-trunk-2191?variant=43104519028994 to be honest when I received my order I was quite impressed of the quality & construction of it. The trunk has stops so the lid doesn't flop all the way over against the side. A straight 90 degrees with a pressure catch. You can not tweak it by twisting it for movement, rock solid, the casters are rubber with offroad style treads & stainless pins. The latches are well constructed set up in the same fashion as my Pelican Elite 30 qt. cooler "Press & Pull Latches", looks to be a quality weather seal that compresses well, 2\3 length hinges, it's stackable. Over all for "my" use & needs I feel will serve me good to store my (4) Rhino Rack 270 Batwing Tapered Walls in, my 12" cast iron dutch oven & carry case, trappers ax, shovel & etc.

I removed the Tuff Stuff 61\2ft. x 8ft. Awning so the trunk will be in it's place. I sold the awning & awning room. My Batwing with the tapered walls offer me & the wife that room. I figured I will get some drag while pulling the trailer with it mounted on the roof rack.
