So the paint is almost done. I am looking for ideas on how to store stuff inside. We used it on a recent boys out trip, and it did great. But it was a mess inside with weekend gear for 6 boys and two adults....would love some ideas.
Looks like you've put a lot of work into it so far. Will black be the final color; will it be a concern to your gear to be enclosed ina black container that will absorb a lot of heat?
My thinking is along the lines of something modular and scalable, allowing you the flexibility to easily reconfigure the trailer for your needs. Some sort of low cost covered container that could be easily labeled to determine the contents or to the camper it's assigned to.
I agree, but I am thinking some kind of shelving for sleeping bags and maybe some additional hooks for packs ( they did well last time, though I need to put a hook in place to run a bungee across the packs)
As far as the color, it will stay black for now. It will eventually get a repaint, but it needs a lot of other stuff first. The black paint was to stop rust and cover the logos that were painted on it.

Paint is almost finished (in blank, it will get cleaned up and changed later), and I have fixed the back doors (the wood on the inside of the doors was rotted and splintering and the latching mechanism was no good). I will post some pictures tomorrow.
Still working on that. I think a black rattle can paint job on my 2012 Tundra would look real nice. That is just a base coat of rust inhibitor paint. It will get a respray at some point. While people are looking at this thread, I discovered last night that the tail lights are not working. I have blinkers, brakes, and hazards, but no tails.....anybody have any ideas?
