I finishing up on the the once over this morning to our offroad camper for the wife & I offroad adventure in the Ozark National Forest. Every thing is good, battery full charged, I serviced the wheel bearings a month back, the underneath of the chassis looks great, tires & spare are @ the tire pressure I like, service the Lock n Roll receiver & coupler. We suppose of done this trip during Thanksgiving but the rains cancel the trip until now.
The wife change out the bedding last week end for the winter season bedding, fired up Proplex H2000 heater runs like a champ as always. Both 5lb propane tank & the 20lb tank are full. I called & talked with forest department on forest roads conditions, some are washed out, some with deep ruts, some road under construction do to the storms we had, so I'll bring a extra set of recovery boards I might have to be using them doubled up as bridging so we can complete our trip through out the National Forest from Arkansas into Missouri. I love the winter camping, we will see less people on the trail do to them being fair weather. This time of the year camping makes for good ole dutch oven comfort food & some stay in camp relaxing. Give me a chance to set up our walls for our Rhino Rack 270 with a large Mr. Heater with 15 ft. supply line. Temp's are 50's during the days, nights mid 30's with winds out of the south east 4 to 9 mph should make for a good trip.
